Dr. H. M. Behl – Vice Chairman – Neem Foundation
Dr. H. M Behl takes on a new responsibility as the Foundation Vice Chairman. Like his predecessor Dr B. N Vyas he is eminently suitable to shoulder the responsibility.
It is well known that He has been associated with Neem Foundation right from a its early days & has been active his commitment to the cause of Azadirachta indica.
Dr. H.M. Behl is a Ph. D. in Development Botany (Legumes) from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Dr. Behl is a full bright scholar and a very well known name in professional circle of biologists. He is Ex-Deputy Director, National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow; Ex-Area Coordinator, Biomass Biology & Environment Sciences; Bioinformatics & Library; Planning & Monitoring; National Neem Network and Head, Biomass Research Centre, a Senior Fulbright scholar.
Dr Behl He has several international publications and patents to his credit.
He has provided support to wellness teams by way of training, web support, creative writing and blogs etc.
He has in the past been a Consultant Government of Vietnam for Neem Cultivation & Extraction. He has also shared his expertise with Govts. of Sri Lanka and Male for biodiversity & consultant Forest Department India for protected Environment Nurseries. R & D & Extension on Neem and as a bio-fuel crop.
He has over 55 publications to his credit; six edited books; nine Feasibility Studies.
He travels across the world to be with his family & his days are largely divided between USA & India.
